Re: my green 68
I need to take some new pictures of my 68 for an update. Been messing with this crew cab and my green truck is getting neglected.

Re: my green 68
That is a beautiful truck!! Congrats! Were you happy with Grither's in Murphysboro? What was the extent of their effort? Looks like you have a lot of shots of it in the shop, do you by chance work there?
Again, excellent job! I'm following your crew build too!

Re: my green 68
Grithers did an excellent job! I brought it to them just wanting the outside resprayed. I painted it myself the first time and wasn't pleased with the pearl dispersion and I had a few spots in it. Since Grither's paint and body is my bride to be Dads shop I got to do a lot of the stripping and blocking it for the repaint. We got it way straighter and the panel gaps so much nicer. The attention to detail their is second to none and the finish product is amazing. Also they just added on to the shop a building just for restorations if anyone is interested.

Re: my green 68
Awesome truck! I was wondering what size wheels and tires were used?

We went right through Mt. Vernon today on our way to MO. Wish I would have payed closer attention to our route before we left. Might have been able to get together and do lunch or something.

Re: my green 68
That would have been cool. There is a couple of Bumps in the area and maybe we can make some kind of meet and great ant B dubs or something.

Re: my green 68
You are not that far from us. I would just have to watch the weather report since I have no wipers On to the subject of your Ididit column. It looks GM on the outside. For the top (mounting a steering wheel) what is it? I want to use a steering wheel (being me it will have to be modified) from a '66 Toronado (the hunt for this elusive beast has been so much fun). Or am I stuck with strictly aftermarket with the column? What brake pedal did you use?

Re: my green 68
The column takes any aftermarket wheel with gm adapter or 64-94 gm wheel. I'm running a 76 automatic pedal on my original 68 pedal bracket. I used the 76 pedal because that's what I had out of the donor truck that I got my ps box and disc brake spindles. My 68 was originally a 3 on the tree manual.
