I keep doing something wrong. I've tried to place a marker several times but it doesn't seem to work for me.

Just got the map up and running today, but it should have a good number of markers on it in the next few days I would guess. I zoomed in on a couple to find multiple markers near each other already. Madman, it looks like you already have 1 neighbor.

Does it take a while before the tag shows up? I haven't seen mine yet.

I have tried three times and I still don't show up on the map?

It normally puts the tag up immediately upon entering all of the information and putting in the verification code at the bottom (squiggly letters). If it does not pop up there for you, then try again. The map is set to hold 500 members and we are only at 55, so no where near the cap.

I can't get it to work. I have entered everything 4 times now. Maybe it will work for me later.

Of course as soon as I posted this and then tried again it worked.

I know I am slow with computers at times, but I have tried at least five times since the thread started and I still can't figure out how to get it to work for me

Okay, fourth time trying in the last 25 minutes and it finally took my location and placed me on the map

Kinda wondering if perhaps we can only add so many per hour or day

Tried again with no luck (unless you count bad luck). What are you guys putting in the "link" box? Maybe it doesn't like Chrome as a browser.

Put the squiggly code in in all caps. That finally worked for me!

You dont have to put anything in the link box. All you NEED to have is a name and the squiggly letters at the bottom. You should put your truck type in the message box and upload a picture if you can, but you dont have to do those..

As for "only so many an hour", I am not sure of that as the first day, we had over 10 in 1 hour. The site just might be having issues at times, or maybe its the browsers? I placed it with Internet Explorer every time I have done it and never had any problems. I have not tried it with any other browsers though...

Well I finally picked the girl with long hair as my pic, said "last attempt," and it took! Only about 20 miles off from my real location because I used a map that covered lots of ground to pick my location, but hey, I'm on the map.
