Rebuilt 390

Post by clickclickboom10 »

hello. so i have a 71 f250. camper special. i had a 390 in it. i just got it rebuilt, and im starting to put it back together. i was wondering if there was any certain way or procedures i have to do. i already put my heads on, the pushrods and the rocker assembly, also the intake manifold. i have torqued everything down thus far. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i will keep posted on my progression as much as i can.

As long as you don't forget the valley pan and the oil drainbacks from the valve train you are probably OK.. the rest is the same an a smallblock...

Good luck.

This isn't the best pic,but there the thin metal pcs in the white box in the bed of my truck.....if you have these parts..you'll reconize them by there shape
Image

the two skinny pcs go under your rocker shafts and your vally pan(should already be in..based on what you've done)underneith intake
I've had enough and I'm not alone
