Bump Sighting

Post by Swegner99 »

Im at the shop today, dont usually work on Saturdays but im filling in for one of my advisors. I thought it would be another boring Saturday half day, until this thing pulled up on the service drive. I got to chat with the owner a little bit. Original owner, did a full restoration in the late 80's. Its a pretty clean truck, he doesnt have the attention to detail that I would have had on the body work. You can see where he didnt grind it completely smooth. But from a distance its nice looking. 1971 F100 on a 250 chassis. Lots of little custom touches.

Looks like one thing he did was remove the cab tank.

Removed the in cab tank, dual saddle tanks, welded the bed seams, all custom interior with black leather covering the headliner, dash pad, and door panels. Black leather and gray cloth tuck and roll bench with center console (wish I would have gotten a picture of the interior  ) Aftermarket A/C, it was huge motivation to see a bump in person that was fairly nice. As soon as I get off im going home and getting in the garage :D

Love that charcoal silver color, wouldn't show dirt too bad I'd guess. Nice truck.
