Montoya lost control on the caution lap and slid sideways into the rear of the jet dryer. Fuel ran down the incline and the thing was a fireball. Race was delayed over an hour for that and ended at 1am. :zz:

It was a good race. Glad I didn't go and watch this one in person though! What a crazy way to kick of the season. Another big disappointment for me is the fact that Mark Martin is now driving a Toyota. :x I guess it might be time for me to find a new driver. I was still ok with him behind the wheel of a chebby, but call me old school I can't find myself hoping a toyota wins.

Could you imagine what a great commercial it had been if somebody got in the F-350, cranked it up, and limped away?!?!?!?!?

Oh man! I'd be re-thinking my "day job" if I were the driver of the F-350!
I agree 100% Billy, I didn't know he went to toyota. :(

Dreadful Bobbyford just dreadful.

My 16 yr old walked in and saw the fire and asked what happened so I told him Montoya ran into the jet dryer. Out of the blue he said "Doesn't he drive the Target car?" Um, yeah. Yeah he does.

As hard as it was for me to stay up through the clean up im glad i did. The fords had the field covered and were working well together for the final 40 laps, Even though i didn't know if Biffle would stay with the 17 or not to the end.

And on a side note,,Is it just me, or dose it seem like the boys just don't like Ms Patrick ? Seems she got knocked out the way a few times and took some hard hits.

I like her. I hope she does well. She got caught up in someone else's mess in Cup and Nationwide (it was her team mate that spun her in the Nationwide race). I listened to her on the scanner last year at Vegas and she is smart and really eager to learn to drive stock cars.

Looked like she got taken out in the trucks and nationwide series. I didn't see the start of the 500, but from what i seen on the replay she just got in the middle of the wreck. I think she will be a good driver in a full body car with some seat time under her. Im just wondering who picked the next cup race for her, Darlington just don't seem like a good choice. Wish her luck
