Re: 72 ford crew cab
i have to look but i think it is .032 ss with a .011 protrusion. I have this same setup on my superduty cummins swap i run 60 lbs of boost daily and nos once in awhile and havent had a problem in 3 years. So i am sticking with if it aint broke dont fix method we will see what 500-600 hp will do to it .

Re: 72 ford crew cab
Could you post some more pictures of how you did the Dana 60 swap that is a very interesting route. If a guy didnt want to lift his truck or leave it as close to stock height as possible could he do it using your method?

Re: 72 ford crew cab
alright guys got some stuff done along the last couple weeks. I got the entire shortblock done all new gaskets bearings orings in the block arp head studs and rebuilt the p/s pump. I also got started on porting the head. My plan is to have the entire drivetrain rebuilt by the beginning of summer and in the frame for a test fit .

Re: 72 crew cab cummins
Got the majority of the frame boxing done. And had one of my buddy's cut me some motor mounts. Now I just have to gring the frame. And in with the trans and motor.
