i finally got around to starting my own thread about my new bump i picked this up about a year ago i payed $800 big ed made me a good deal because he seen all the cars i had been fixing up and he didnt want it to go to bad home it was his dads truck his dad bought it brand new and neither ed or his father put many miles on it. i was offerd $1200 for it but i decilned the offer
since i got it
-i have replaced all 4 wheel clyinders
-got rid of the split rims
-put in a seat from a 92 f-250
-duct tape covered the headliner
-fan clutch from a 73 lincoln
-bypassed the coolant in the carb spacer thingy
-changed the oil
-got rid of the dash pad
-new old gauges
anyways heres a few pictures
the day i drove her home without brakes
new seat, wheels and etc.
new old gauges my little sister frosted the needles for me i need a new clear cover
i have been toying with the roll bar idea a little
the worst rust in the whole truck ed left the bed (hey that rhymes) full of coal and it traped the moisture which cause the bed to rust out

Real...good start with bid Ed bump. Especially loving the price! does the winch work on the front? If so, it's almost worth what you paid for thew whole truck around here.
PM sent.i need a new clear cover

yep the winch works great havent used it much its got a few issues the brake dont work and you have engage the clutch from the outside but i know a guy who has enough parts to build 2 of these winches and have parts left over and he will probally give me whatever in exchange for a 12 pack

That is a good looking truck, I like the bumper turned out pretty nice. I Also noticed you took off the spot lights, what are your plans for them? If your not going to use them I'd like to buy them.

Re: the big ED bump
well guys i started working on this girl about year ago i replaced the floor boards then demo derby season came then we deiced to build a shop now im back into it again.......finally the first thing i did was remove the front clip and put por15 on the frame and the cab mounts i just need to remove the motor so i can get the inside of the frame rails and the firewall then use por self etch and then por flex coat next we put a 3 inch body lift under it to make room for a cummins i have been working on fixing all of po mods to i filled in all the screw holes in the hood for that ugly bug visor i also filled in the hole for the cb antenna and the spot lights
heres what i got done a year ago
por15 is holding good (thats just dust i cleaned it out latter
this is where the vents get there air (need a 2nd coat its hard to see in there )
this fender is still way good i deiced to cut a drainage hole to let all the dirt and water out
