So is the Ranger XLT the top of the line F100 in the early 70's?

Re: Trim Packages:
Yes, these trucks came with every creature confort expected in a truck, only options not available on them then was the F100's had 4 wheel drum brakes, and no power windows or door locks, although i realy find muanual locks and windows to be better than a malfunctioning auto/power lock and windows.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

Re: Trim Packages:
So could you double up on some of the trim packages? I've seen a Camper Special with the Explorer badge on the glove box.

Re: Trim Packages:
It gets a little confusing, but here goes to the best of my ability...
Since F350 Bumps are kinda rare, I'll focus on F100's and F250's.
A Camper Special Package (F100 and F250 1967 only, F250 ONLY from 1968 on) could be added to any trim level package. Example: You could order a Custom Trim Level Ford truck with the Camper Special package too. So certain packages were "features" packages and other packages were trim levels.
Mixing and matching of Trim Levels, Features and Options was, more often then not, done by the Ford Dealership management so that they would have a good mix of competitively optioned trucks that were attractively priced for the majority of customers that showed up on the lot.
