Just wait till I get the computer re-flashed. A company called GDE does an "eco-tune" that increases torque from 295 to 340 ft lbs, hp from 160 to 180, and mileage goes up to 34 hwy. I'll be doing that this summer.

That sucks though, such a clean chero-wagon. i loved my '85. glad you and your daughter are safe and sound.
:yt: I was thinkin if you were going to keep the cherokee, just cut off the roof & windshield. Put a roll bar in there and you're good to go. I see people driving stuff like that all the time.

:yt: My Son now has two in his family down in Florida. And the Cherokees are pretty popular around here for "crawlin" too. Pretty simple to upgrade their axles / engine / drivetrain for serious off roading. Wait a minute...did I just "endorse" a non-Ford product!?
Real glad the tree didn't hit your home either Joe!

Yes and no, As Ford Had THe GP(General Purpose0 "Jeep" rights during WWII I consider it still Ford. Considering The Dodge brothers Used to build engines and what for Ford.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

Yeah, the limiting factor on the Liberty is the IFS. You can't do more than 2.5" of lift on a CRD or you'll have cv binding issues. Lucky for me that's as high as I want to go with it!

As for the house, I'm glad it landed where it did too. I am very lucky that it went right between the house and garage.
