Any one have special pull with the airlines?

My Uncle John in Oregon Just passed Today and his Funeral is this sat. So i'd need to leave friday and return sometime next week.

those sorry sob's probably have 20-30 seats open going but since it's last minute they want to pad thier pocket with my money. Speaking of wich is little. if we could get me and mom out there and back for 540 Roundtrip total including her and i 1 bag each it would be cool.

Sorry for you loss..Most airlines have the hardship discount for sudden flights involving family death... you may need to get a copy of the death certificate or something in that nature.. My bother used that discount when your grandparents died and saved a good amount of cash.. I only found out about that discount because I drove him to the airport after the funeral..good luck and God bless you..

Hope all worked out ok. Sorry for your loss. When Vicki, my sweet wife, was passing last July I tried the hardship fare for one of our Daughters. Found a lot cheaper fair by using the internet search and comparing prices. The Airlines use the full fare prices when they do the hardship discounts. Yes I did manage to get all three girls here to be with their Mom before she passed. God bless you and yours.

Thanks guys, But it looks like i'll visit in a few months, Mom went ahead, they was saying today for the funeral but now it'll be next friday. if we'd known that we coulda got us both round trip for the cost of her one way.
