Project FreeRide has arrived!

Post by Kraig »

My free '69 LWB F100 Ranger truck has arrived from Washington state! The big block FE fired right up, no smoke,
no funny noises! Cab mounts, rockers etc are solid. Rear cab corners are rusty and some rust in the bed floor and
tailgate. Overall, fairly straight and solid! How do you post pics?

I used Dependable Auto Shippers for shipping it. No issues and easy to deal with, a positive experience on my part.

To post pics you can either use the attachments function or link to a photobucket of flicker account. I think there's still a blurb in the testing subforum on how to.

How much did it cost to bring the truck home? I'd love to bring back a rust free '68-69 Ranchero to restore / run around in since mine is getting pretty rough.

Here's a picture of my twin brother's '69 Bump that was delivered today. The pix is from his cell and I couldn't get it to rotate...so it is what it is!

Project FreeRide is currently safely store inside at my work. I have to finish getting my house ready to sell before
I can spend time on it. The house has bad memories as my house was entered by a young man that kicked our dog
to death and put holes in the wall etc. (He got a slap on the wrist...the legal system sucks for victims!) He also vandalized
my daughter's car while we were waiting to go to trial! They are also building more college housing down the street from me
and college students in general make terrible neighbors!!

Hey, quit stealing our trucks. Just because we don't live in the rust belt doesn't mean that you guys east of the coninental divide can take them. We need them for our projects too.
