Spot weld bit extension
As some of you know, spot weld bits are a handy tool, but since most of them are only a couple of inches long, they can be tough to use in tight spaces. I bought the spot weld bit set from Eastwood. Bit works great, but I can't reach into tight corners with it, because of the drill. So, I had the machinists mill it down to exactly 1/4 inch, and bought one of these drill bit extensions from Lowes. It holds the bit snug, no wobble at all, and it works like a charm!

That's pretty cool. I've never used an extension because of the wobble. What did it cost if you don't mind me asking?

Sorry. I misread your post. I have a Blair bit which is already 1/4" shank. I just need the extension. Now if we could only figure out a way to shorten the drill a.d but to 2 inches.
