Lost a friend of mine last night. A good soldier, a father of 4 and a husband. From what I know he was at a light on his motorcycle outside of post and someone ran him down with a van. I guess the moral of the story is let the ones you love know you love them you might not get tomorrow to tell them.

I keep thinking I should get a bike to run to work, save gas and all but then I remember I'll be reading about at least on death on a two wheeler a week until November.

With the texting craze in full swing I can't imagine the dangers on the road this year.

Also sorry to hear it Billy. My back issues a few years ago made me realize just how short life can be. We should never take a single second for granted.

When I was stationed at Fort Bragg we had a fellow troop that was rear ended at a redlight in Fayetteville while on his motorcycle. He was around 21 years old when some dumbass ran over him. Sorry for you loss. A tragic and unnecessary loss of life.
