...that you get when you see something odd that you know you've seen before but just can't place it?

On my way to a job interview this afternoon I hit a rather large crack on the 101. I heard something rattling under the truck and checked the mirror just in time to see it disappear under the car behind me.

Hmm... kinda "L" shaped, maybe 5-6 inches long, black and plastic or metallic... nahh, no idea what that was...

A few miles later and BAM! It was the damn oil breather cap and tube! The realization hit me so hard I must have had the goofiest look on my face; I wish I could have seen it!

Anyway, now I need another one. Unless someone has a suggestion for an aftermarket replacement.

But none of these look like mine did. Mine had kind of a bumpy shape with a hose going from the top of it to the air cleaner.

I suppose any aftermarket one will work, but it won't look right.

The only difference was mine was unpainted, bare, grey metal. And it had a short, maybe 6 inch hose going to the side of the air filter housing.

The one I posted above looks kinda like the right one to me, I couldn't find a bare metal one yet as this laptop is slow but they do have a chrome one:

Yeah, those look like the one I lost. I couldn't see the image at work. I wonder how the quality would stack up to the original part.
