does anybody know what year this grille is?

this is the grille on my 1968 f100. but it looks just like a 69 grille.. Was it switched? or is there some chance that my truck is a 69 instead of a 68?

Looks like yours has the 68 grill. 68 and 69 grilles were identical except for a groove stamped into the middle horizontal bar on the 69's; this applies to both painted and aluminum grills. This was accented with red on the 69 Rangers.

That's a 68 Ranger grille. The Ranger grilles for 68 and 69 have the center drilled for the posts on a Ranger emblem. I see something on the front of the grille, not sure what it is. But the positions seem right for a Ranger emblem.

Definitely 68 Ranger... You can see bits of the Ranger emblem still hanging...
