Its cheap enough, I imagine the corrsion issues have got to be minimal if its been in AZ. and decent bumper setup to boot. Man, i wish it was closer.

I hope it finds a good home...I'd love to have it but it would have to wait in line behind my other projects! :D

Found it on CL a while back listed at 4k. Said his minimum was $3500. Was just too much with what it needed. I'm watching to see what it goes for.

Wow, if I was asking that kind of money for it I'd at least put some tires on it and maybe roll out a gallon of primer so it doesn't look like absolute junk...

By the way, there is a really nice '72 4x4 crew cab (blue) for sale in Riverside, Calif for approx. $6,500 - on craigslist. Seems to me a better value than the yellow one on ebay.

I was thinking the same thing. It always amazes me when people want top dollar for their stuff but don't even bother to drag it out of the weeds and wipe the dirt off.

I'd just as soon see it in its natural state than covered up with primer to hide god only knows what.

That being said, dude is smokin crack if he thinks he's gonna get 3500 for that.

I've seen much more desirable vehicles go for a lot less money and in much better condition.

I'm a bit late to the game on this one as the auction already ended. I wonder how good the wench is that goes with it?

But seriously,I see that the reserve was not met. I might have to take a drive up to see it next week when I'm out that way.

Regarding the blue '72 4x4 in Canyon Lake, CA. I've seen it at $7,500, $6,500 and $6,000. It has some rust on the roof and hood.

I suppose it's got potential, but there is no way I'd spend that kind of $$$ on a truck
that beat.. Doesn't even run.. :( Interior looks about half trashed..
It's going to take a lot of work, and lots more $$$ to get it into shape.
