A Two Bump House

Image

I must of been bored today. While using Google Maps to find out how far away a place was, I zoomed in to far and got the "street walker's view". So what did I see? My house, tools and parts on the lawn and the hood up. LMAO This satellite image must have been taken in July 2011 as near as I can tell. I was able to rotate the view and see red jack stands under the brown truck in the street. I must have been out chasing parts. Had I have been home, I definitively would have waved at the UFO taking this picture.

Google Maps is not the only place offering this type of imagery. What's your place look like from a satellite image?

Actually that wasn't taken from a satellite, google has special cars with a camera mounted up on a pole that drives around and takes picture all around itself for street view. So it's pretty much whenever you see the car go by with the funny stuff poking up, that's when they took the pic :D

next time you see it, run out and drop your pants or something ;)

So it does. I hadn't noticed the fine print. I was basing my time line on the lumber rack. I took it off the brown truck to make room for a camper shell that I bought a week later.

Oh, pooh! Google Maps shows a Toyota minivan in front of my house! :( The photo was taken February 2008, and I didn't get my bump until July 2011. Hopefully, they'll phone ahead that they're coming next time!

By the way, what are you doing with TWO bumps? When I brought mine home, my neighbor said, "Oh, great! Just what we need! Another crap car on our street!" Another neighbor has a dentside; it's seen better days!
