is the 6.850 rod a production length rod from another engine?

I read a couple days back that you can use 351 rods, 302 pisons and a 3.85 stroke crank in a 351 to make a 393. you can get a crank for a couple hundred bucks. pretty cheap for a stroker. cool stuff. :thup:
