Been gone a bit

The Madman has been out of the office as of late, but should now be available for opinions, and general smart ass comments.

Been a rough past 8 weeks. I lost my Dad to cancer several weeks ago, and I am still trying to accept it and move on. I own a 70 F250 4x4 simply because that is the pick up that he factory ordered in late 1969, and we did everything in that truck. I will be overhauling mine in the memory of my Father.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my Dad 10 years ago, he was only 64. Have fun with the truck rebuild.

I'd bet that by the time your done with restoring the truck your head will be straight.

Thank you everyone. I have so many memories of Dad driving me around in his 70, Deer hunting in Oregon, Camping in Virginia and South Carolina, and all over hell and back in between. My Dad had lung cancer, and was satying with me for his treatment. Part of the reason I bought the 70 was a motivation for him never to give in, and he was sooo looking forward to working on it with me. I miss him terribly, and want to restore this truck in his memory.
