I sure hope that God is ready to go fast! When you see a cloud go by faster than the others, that's the one Carroll is on.

IMHO, the name Shelby and the badges Cobra, GT350 and GT500 will always be the mark of distinction for American muscle cars. In this day, while other manufacturers have attempted the "retro" look in their design, only Ford and Shelby have remained true to their roots. Sure the new Camaro is a cool car, the Charger and Challenger look good and the Corvette will always be sharp, only the Mustang, and the GT500 in particular, brings up the image of their forefathers in recognizable form. My deepest, heartfelt respect for the man, the myth, the legend, Carroll Shelby. American iron has lost one of it's greatest and he will forever be missed in the Halls of Horsepower and Torque. R.I.P. Mr. Shelby, you left your skid mark on our hearts!
