Another new project

Post by flyboy71 »

Ive been keeping my eye on this 14 ft frame for a few weeks and finally stopped and made an offer and go it for very little money. It was a Shasta camper that the guy was going to make into a utility trailer so now Ill be the one to do it. It won't be a car hauler, just a way to get my truck frame and eventually cab and bed in for blast or paint. The e-brakes work ok. It needs a deck, some lights and inspected. Titled at 4000 GVWR its required in PA. Converting to a trailer is too much a PITA so it will stay a "camper"

As it came home.

After a bunch of welding today. The gray metal stuff is phone relay rack cable troughs. Hey it was free and it works. I need more panels for the rectangular holes you see on there if my Dad can find them at work. No the fenders aren't on yet just sitting there. I need to figure that out yet. Still more to do.

....and after a day of success on the trailer, my Troy Built engine blew for good so it was off to the store for a new mower. It was a pretty good day I must say.
