Free Chiltons Online

Post by cowbay »

Hey I know in this economy or at least for me I am looking to save every dime I can. I found this on another forum that I belong to and wanted to share with you guys.

yes free chiltons online: :D
All you have to do is go to this website:
https://elibrary.mel.org/validate?ur...ch%3Fdb%3DCHLL
https://elibrary.mel.org/validate?ur...ch%3Fdb%3DCHLL
And for the Login ID, just use ANY letter and then 12 numbers. Any 12 numbers, that is the format for a Michigan License number.

So like "a123456789012" Sounds crazy, but it works!

helps for reference, and we love free!

Very cool. www.autozone.com also has some decent online reference stuff. You have to enter the vehicle and then go to specifications. It's saved me a bunch of times with oddball wiring diagrams etc. I'm not sure about the old stuff but newer is in there.

The San Antonio Public Library also has a subscription to Chilton's online. You may want to check your local library to see if they do too.
