Very cool man. You sound just like me a few years ago. I'm 18 now. Got my first bump when I was 12 and joined here when i was 13. Got myself 3 paper routes and then a job making pizza, and another job at a welding shop. Never too young to start learning and working on your truck. Keep at it. I started with a hideous '71 f250 when I was 12, and turned that into a full blown off-road racing truck, and picked up a '69 f100, and turned that into a frame-off restored '69 f250 4x4 with a Cummins. All on a high school (and now broke college kid) budget, working for all my money.

Condolences on the loss of your Father.
Your story is quite an awesome one, and your not alone here in your age group. There are several teenagers here restoring our old trucks. Ryan, (1971Ford I believe is his username) kinda grew up here building bumps, (and a racing bump to boot)! There's lots of good folks here to help, and don't be too shy or afraid to ask any question.
Wish I were closer and I'd round up all the aluminum I could also to help with your build!
Thank you. Its good to know im not the only teenager here. Though i am more of an offroad person

Racing bump as in off-road racing bump
