Hot sucks

Post by Ranchero50 »

Too hot, too soon. Blech.

Trying to polish parts, getting to hot too fast.

Supposed to hit 95 today so I'm prepping the boat for some water action this evening.

How are you coping?

Cmon man, its a wet heat. I was sweating like a pig in the garage last night. I welded and ground a bit and this morning its already flash rusted from the humidity. Im just glad I got my heat pump in a month ago.

Well, so far today I gave up on the garage, went and gut a #2 haircut and came inside to watch the Deadliest Catch on YouTube.

I should be outside trimming weeds for a trip to the farm but it's too miserable. I even left all three dogs inside and they flopped in the living room by the AC.

walked out the door this morning at 4am to try and beat the heat. A friend tilled me a 60x30 spot for a fall garden and have to rake all the grass out of it. I raked for 2.5 hours and my pants were soaked to the knees. I drank a gallon of water and sweat ever bit of it out. Humidity sucks :pout:

Yeah hiboy, it's pretty tough living here in Southern CA also. There was a high of 71 degrees here in San Diego. 8) On the other hand, my Dad lives in the desert in Southern CA and it was 112 degrees on his front porch at noon.

I really feel for all you sweltering in the hotter parts of the US. Up here in Seattle, we've had a La Nina effect in full force, sooo much rain last year and this year. It gets pretty dreary at times.
More rain predicted for next week, looking forward to some sun someday. All this wet mild weather keeps my little lawn and tree service busy. :)

It's been 89 in the garage since 10am today. I'm trying to get it cleaned up but I keep dripping where I'm sweeping...
