my new to me short 66.

just recently bought a short 66. 240/3sp dealer installed a/c and reverse lights. raven black with rangoon red steering column and seat (is has since been recovered). very original 63,000 mile truck. runs like a sewing machine and has a killer after market stereo as well. no cutting on a nice original radio delete dash. the padded dash is in good shape with no cracks as well. still has red oxide primer on the underside of the cab. over all, a pretty nice survivor.

- still got my first first car 20+yrs later : 69 f100 sorta kinda pretending its a Mercury M100 w/a 70 f350 sport custom cab (factory buckets) 67 grille with 69 ranger cooneyes 68 merc box and hood,some supercool fiberglass fenders i scored way back when, 76 f150 disc brake frontend..currently running a 90 5.0HO 4bbl/c4 auto & 3.50 posi...originally a 360/c6 f100 Ranger with dealer added towpack (incl. kelsey hays trailer brake),boxside toolbox,behind the seat stowage & belly tank...only original parts left on 'er are the frame,rear end,rear springs,and rear bumper...

Sweet! I miss my old 65 sometimes. Are you going to do up the wheels like you did on the last one?

i don't think i have owned an f series truck this nice overall and yes, i wanna lower it! lol. it will get chrome poverty caps and whiter white wheels. charged the a/c and it blows very cold. love this one.

cleaned up the wheels with some 0000 steel wool and got some stainless poverty caps. she looka betta now.
