Havent been around lately but wanted to update everyone

Post by 69rangerf100 »

So the last 8 months have been extremely busy for me working 50-60 hours a week and school full time. i started to get burned out at work and the final straw was that i was past over for 2 different promotions when i have been the number 1 performer in my work group. so i asked the COO why, he told me you have no future with us you might as well look for another job. so i have been looking for the last 2 weeks and i got a call back for a second interview this morning and the great thing is this company has no problems with what i am asking for which is a bonus in its self.

Wow, at least your current COO was honest.

Good luck with the new job.

I was kinda in the same boat, working FT and doing school and was also passed over for anything once I graduated. So when I finished school I landed another job and bailed. Funny thing is they paid all of my school and books and fees and there was no stipulation about staying for any period of time afterwards. I assume either they arent paying your schooling or youre not obligated to stay if so?

current employeer is not paying for school. i have been paying out of pocket and federal grants to pay for school. the cool thing is that the possible new employeer's HR manager said that i could have a clause put in that if i graduate within a certain time period i could get a pay raise with out a review.
