Well it has been about 2 years since I sold my 69 Highboy. Today I filled the void in my automotive spirit with a new project.
I bought a 69 flareside, 2 wheel drive with the straight 6 and a manual 3 speed.
Since I have always been partial to the flaresides and I have overcome my desire for an old 4X4 I am hoping this will prove to be a nice little cruiser.
Granted it needs some work but what that old does not need work.
Drives well, shifts well, stops great, heck event the wind shield washer works like a charm. The seat has got to go and I need to do some research on the column as it seems to be too long but I am very happy to have an old truck again!
Back in the Saddle!!!!
