Excuse my blatant ignorance here. But if some of the members here are willing to take on the financial and time consumption expense of hosting and running the forums..........shouldnt some of the first steps be......See what Keith is willing to do........see what it costs...........and see about getting someone to run it?. I am all in as far as I can be for saving the forums and improving them if possible.

Everytime I click to the page, it jumps to a "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading"
error page. It's been that way a good while, and seemed to pretty much happen overnight for some reason.
I thought maybe it was my Firefox version, but it seems like I went to a newer version, and it still did it.
But IE seems to work just fine.. Go fiqure.. :/
Yeah, it's odd. Are you using Win7? I've got Vista on my desktop computer and don't have any problems with Firefox. Win7 on my laptop and have your same problem with Firefox so I use Chrome and don't have any issues.
Still using XP here..

I also feel this same way. It feels like the site plateaued a couple years ago and is steadily going downhill.

This site is definitely screwed up. I have 3 computers I use for the internet and only one running XP and chrome will load it. The others with XP and 7 and chrome won't do it, they get constant errors. They all have the same antivirus software and cache dump/cookie maintenance. I have zero issues with any other sites on any of the computers.

I really feel like the Fordification.net forum should be dumped and the two combined. Seperating the two very similiar generations of trucks makes some sense for the vast technical information Kieth compiles, but it severely handicaps the forums.

I think the goal of the forums should be to grow larger than it is, maintain good natured moderation and venture past the operate on donations from site members to tasteful advertising.

I just received notification to this post.

I'm not on the site a whole lot lately, hell I never was a big name here, but I haven't noticed any issues with it when I have. I am currently using Safari on Windows 7, I don't recall if I've checked it from home recently (also Safari but on Mac OS X Lion).

So far I can still get on , hope everyone will stick together
and we will come through this in a little while.

Keith does a wonderful job.
I think he will get this worked out.
This is a great place for us Bumpsters to gather.

I haven't been able to log on at home since April.
I'm not too computer literate , can some one explain
"clearing the cache" in simple terms that won't mees up my already sluggish computer.?
