Never done any that size, I'd love to see how it's done. If I had to figure it out I'd be looking for a 50+ ton hollow Enerpac ram and build whatever else was needed.

We did bearings that big at the last shop that I worked at,we would freeze them in liquid nitrogen and they would fit in the bore with no problem.

He said they freeze 'em to 50 below and they go right in but if they get hung up he said they can actually hammer on them to get them in. He said they're pretty resilient.eggman918 wrote:True,you know they are not cheep!
