how much do you pay for insurance?
I finally got my trucks issues worked out and am thinking about starting to drive it. how much do you pay for your insurance? i know they vary alot, im just wanting an idea of what im going to have to pay. i only want liability. Im 20 and live in texas. the truck is a 69 302 lwb.
Re: how much do you pay for insurance?
I think I pay $35ish a month. I am 24, but have my house and a few other vehicles insured which gives me a fairly decent discount

Re: how much do you pay for insurance?
antique plates here for me with full coverage and $15000 coverage on my two trucks for around $250 a year. Must be payed in full at first of year though. The cheapest I have been able to get liability here with regular plates is around $40 a month.

Re: how much do you pay for insurance?
I have Grundy Insurance on mine, which runs about $165 per year for $9,000 agreed value coverage. If I ever paint it or do other upgrades, I can always raise my agreed value. This was the best choice for me since I mainly only cruise mine weekends and to carshows. As long as you don't race it or use it for primary or secondary transportation, it can be insured under their classic policy. They also just started this year to offer policies for daily drivers as well. Just email them for a quote.
I didn't see paying $40 to $60 per month for regular full coverage because if it ever got wrecked or stolen, a normal insurance company would only pay bluebook. What is the bluebook on a bump? Like $300? My truck is worth much more to me than that! With Grundy, if it is ever stolen, burned, or totaled, I should recieve what the truck is actually worth, the agreed value coverage I set it at.

Re: how much do you pay for insurance?
Very timely posting as I just got a quote today through Hagerty. For my 69 flair side they quoted $170 a year and that includes roadside. It is an agreed upon value of $5000 with an under construction endorsement that increases 10% of the agreed upon price every quarter over a two year period.
Have not filled out the paperwork and sent it back but it is way cheaper than adding it to my regular insurance at $35 at month for liability only.
Hope that helps.

Re: how much do you pay for insurance?
$1 per days seems about right for liability.
I should call Grundy or Hagerty about my '68 fastback.

Re: how much do you pay for insurance?
I pay about $175 per month for liability insurance on three cars. I forget the numbers, but it's substantially beyond the legal minimum coverage-wise.

My daily drivers are through Geico, and they cost a boat load all together. The '71 bump is on Hagarty and is 115 for 5000 dollar coverage for six months.
