Didn't Know you could smoke sh** BUT that looks like what he taste! Sorry for offending anyone that likes it,but it can probably be bought pretty cheap because I don't think anyone will be standing in line to give even $500 for it.

I can understand "ugly is cool", but that truck is like saying "down syndrome is cool".

I wouldn't have that truck at any price. Maybe if they paid me and It was enough to send the truck out for a complete repaint destroying any evidence it looked like that.

Anyone who buys a truck like that shouldn't be allowed with a hundred yards of a school.

Well, it isn't something that 2 or 3 qts of wimbledon white or orange couldn't fix. With 35k mies, it'd be worthwhile if a guy got it at a reasonable price. Howsoever, those three little words after the price (reserve not met) would seem to scotch any hope of that...

Why is it OK to post this e-bay listing, but if I put a link to my own truck for sale, it gets deleted? :?

I posted this for people to see and thought since its so unique that someone might want to archive pics of it. Even though it is ugly it is probably a 1 of 1 truck. I did not mean to start any issues with any of the members.

Ya know, honestly, I kind of like the color combo, not in a sherbet way either.

I do wonder why the bottom of the data sticker is blank. I guess if someone wanted to they could pay Marti and see what color the VIN report says it's supposed to be.

I've been thinking on this one. I don't care for the color combo but it seems familiar to me for some reason. Maybe it originally was a company truck. :hmm: The only outfit I can think of is Gulf Oil. Anyone else?

Wondered about that myself; seen some pretty hideous company vehicles. Guess it would look more in place with that old GT40 on a trailer behind it...
Sent him a note asking for a pic of the door plate but he hasn't posted it yet.

Colors like this provoke strong reactions, but I'd totally buy this truck if I had the money. That said it does look vaguely like an old company color scheme that seems to be deep in the back of my brain. Just can't place it. There is a company out here that my dad worked for that paints their trucks orange and black, very striking, and divisive as well, you like it or hate it. When I see an older Ford driving about in those colors I know who used to own it.

For the right money I'd sure buy it for the mileage if nothing else. Wouldn't take much paint to make it nice and you'd have a very low mileage truck to start playing with. A color scheme like that I wouldn't bet the lower gravel shield isn't original either.
I know on my 71 the codes on the data plate are hardly visible at all in person. They've all but faded away over the years.Might email him and get the codes from him if interested
I am the others thinking I have either seen a truck with this color combo or it just reminds me of a company in the old days
