Thought I'd take her to the show

Post by Atlas »

This is the third time in 4 years living in Victoria that I've entered my neighbourhood car show. Twice with True Blue and once with my 65 formula "S" Barracuda. I'm always surprised that it's the only F100 in this series entered. I put the bikes in the back this year, they're pretty much vintage correct and were popular too, this is a big old car/tuck and motorcycle town.

Nice truck!
I like those bikes, too! I would love to have an early 70's UJM. (Universal Japanese Motorcycle for you young'uns.) When I was in high school, I had a 1972 Kawasaki S2 350 two stroke triple. That thing ran like a raped ape and sounded like ten billion hacked off bumble bees! :D
Man, I miss that bike. :(

Flyboy, that cs5 is a 200cc two stroke and it's an amazing little bike. When you're in the power band the front wheel will easily come up going from first to second and even third. That's without revving and popping the clutch. Very fast , these little screamers were race ready out the door.

Had a 73 DT360 W/MX motor. Great bikes. No lack of power.

Truck looks great and bikes are really cool! My first bike was Yamaha Mini Enduro 60. It was blast to ride the pipelines jumping terraces at 10 years old. :woohoo:

HEy, I got a Yamaha 60 when I was around 10 years old myself. Sure rode the mess out of that bike. I think it was a 4 speed. one down and 3 up. Yellow with black stripes on the hood.
Took my 71 to one car show several years ago and actually won 1st place in the trucks. Surprised the heck out of me since there were several chevies and they usually win. Nice combo with the truck and bikes.

Thanks guys, I do enjoy car shows. The only thing is that , I end up telling the same story over and over again. That gets a bit tiring after a while, but it is still fun seeing folks reaction.

Mine was red with black stripes. Yep, 1 down and 3 up. Great trail bike.

Congrats, Atlas. She deserves a trophy!
