New F250?

Post by rltvader »

So I have the opportunity to aquire a 1972 F250 Ranger CS.
It has a 360 or 390, 8MPG, so I'm guessing a 360, and body is in great shape. My dad has always wanted a work truck, and he is akin to my F100. It will be a work truck for him, new toy for me. :woohoo:
And I never thought my next bump would come so early, it was gonna happen sooner or later, but I'm happy at the moment. I test drove it today and it is a 3 owner, really a 2 owner because one didn't have it for very long.
Anyway, the guy wants 700 firm on it. I tried 5 or 6, but 700 it is, which I would pay in a heartbeat anyway.
Is this sounding like a good deal? I drove it today, and it seems to run fine, dont hear anything weird, and no cancer.
I will try to post pics tomorrow.

Looks pretty straight, body panels line up well, easily worth the price!

New truck is essentially mine, just waiting for the guy selling it to get his new truck out of the shop.
By the way, interior is in GREAT CONDITION! And an intact dash pad

Well, 700 dollars it is. I will pick it up later this week after he takes the camper shell off(don't worry its not the original) and cleans out the cab. Both doors will be replaced, but that will be alot later. It also has the title. The engine was put in around late 2009. Air conditioning has been disconected, but will be reattached soon.
Here are 3 more pics.
