So, I bought a '72 F-250 Camper today... Am I a bad person if I already want to rip it apart and do a complete restoration!? I think I need mental help!
I've seen quite a few people buy a truck, tear it apart for restoration & ten years later its still torn apart. I would drive it for a while to make sure it is what I really want.

restore one section at a time but get the brakes, engine, lights, etc. working good right away and drive it.
My bump is a rolling/driving restoration. But, the essentials come first for safety and roadworthiness. This way you can drive/enjoy it and it only keeps getting better the more you get into the "restoration".
