What A Relief !!!

Post by 68 Ford Stepside »

I felt half way decent today, so I decided to drive the camper a couple hundred miles just to get out of the house. At about 130 miles it started missing on one cylinder. First thing that came to my mind was a burnt valve. I turned it around & drove back home on seven cylinders. I wanted to let it cool down for a couple hours before checking it out. I went outside expecting the worst, but when I raised the engine cover and looked, I noticed the #1 spark plug wire lying on the exhaust manifold burnt to a crisp. Some days are better than others. Maybe I will get a good nights sleep tonight not thinking about that valve job that could have been. Have A Great Ford Day! :D
