maybe getting a 69

Post by cutthroatxxx »

So I drive a lifted ram Ok nobody climb a tower with a rifle...buford truck may be in my future, now let me tell you why.I have been looking for a used atv&got awesome deal on a 1 owner 2005 Honda 250 ex trx like new with an aftermarket hitch&rack new gators on back...just needs some new front tires&a light bulb it was owned by a woman who only used it on the farm to take feed to her chickens
Anyways she was awesome&barley paid anything ...well to the truck so I saw about 4 old fords under a lean too&noticed a lifted 69 4x4 f100 ranger not sure of the lift amount it does have some coils that like really tall but not too wide&its missing shocks&needs brakes but the old 460 is strong its sitting on a 79 chassis has tons of extra parts&she only wants 1000.00
Im thinking I may get it pull the body off which I forgot to mention is aalmost perfect some surface rust.I've been saying for pawhile I wanted to get a old truck pull the body &put it on my rotisserie &kinda update everything with new interior, dash gauges some new 22s make if real clean...whats your guys opinions..sorry so long

Thanks...yeah no pix Ill ask her to email some...the body is straight has some surface rust but I do all my body&paint work. She has a good sized horse trailer she needs painted &some patch panels welded in so we might be making a deal on the truck for me to make it all pretty for her.Did these things ever come with ac? I couldn't look @it the way I wanted because I had the kiddos with Mr.

A/C was an option, both factory and dealer add-on. So there are some with factory A/C and then there are several different old school aftermarket systems you will see in these old trucks depending on what system that particular dealer put in. Then of course, there are plenty of trucks without. You can get an old system and then get it refurbished and change it over to the new stuff they use now. Or you can pay just about the same amount and just get a Vintage Air setup with new stuff. I have looked at both options and when it is all said and done, you end up spending about the same amount of money either way you go, so its your call.
