South Carolina Specialty License Tags

Post by 68 Ford Stepside »

South Carolina now has over one hundred specialty license tags. Football, baseball, soccer, teams. Various military tags. The selection is unreal. The vast majority of residents still use the standard tag though. I use the standard tag on all of my vehicles, but decided to try something different on old blue. Have A Great Ford Day !

Cool. You deserve the recognition! Thanks for Serving!

I agree there are too many specialty plates, but one for vets should be an exception. It is hard to tell one state from another now when you travel. When we traveled with our parents we used to try to guess the state before we got too close to read the plate just by the color... Can't do that nowdays!

I would never use a specialty plate on a daily driver, because I don't need anything to attract attention or further distinguish me from other cars (I like to blend into a crowd). But the Bumpside turns heads no matter what, so I'd consider a specialty plate for that some day.

Thank you for your service.

Thank you for your service. Where in SC are you? I'm in Spartanburg here.

I've got antique plates on my truck... but I only run it a few thousand miles a year.
