I took the old flareside to the local glass shop yesterday to have a new rubber put around the rear glass. They did a good job. Then the owner asked me not to bring it back for a windshield rubber if I wanted the chrome moulding used. He said he would be happy to replace it with the standard rubber. He said there wasn't enough money in the bank down the road to get him to fight that chrome moulding. I guess he must have had a problem with one before.

Mr Stepside, Mac Glass will probably put one in with chrome if you should need it.
It has been a while, but he use to would do the chrome.
He will come to you (if you are local) or you can go to him.

I had the windshield on the 68 replaced with chrome re-installed. The guy did try to talk me into leaving the chrome off and I gave him the, R U CRAZY LOOK. He re-installed the chrome and did a great job. That was over 2 years ago.
