Now that would be a fun hotrod at the shows.

Lowered, drop in a torque'd-out 460+ with some wild pipes...then offer tow services to guys who didn't quite make it to the show.

Where did you find it? Any chance of a sale?

The old guy that owns that place is about eighty years old. It was his lifetime business. He has a ton of stuff around there & none of it is for sale. When he goes to that junk yard in the sky, the crusher will probably end up with everything. When I can, i try to talk to the people that own the property where i am taking the photos. By the way, my oldest son lives in Augusta.

Well if you see him again, let him know there's a guy south of there who would love to put that thing back on the road - and I wouldn't even paint over the lettering (probably wouldn't lower it either).

Where does your son work?

Nice looking '68 stepside longbox. If it's as much fun to day-trip in as our '70 is, you're having a great ride every time. We have always admired South Carolina for its beauty and laid back lifestyle. Good folks.

Well, you guys can sit around pouting about personal problems, worry about the end of the world or locked threads if you want, but not me. This stage four cancer won't let me worry about all the misc. crap there is to worry about. I'm going to enjoy my old flareside & i'm going to enjoy the fordification website. Do what you must. This old car has taken it's last ride. It's all by itself in the woods about 30 yards from a small creek.
