OT: Odometer glitch - '90 Honda

Post by sargentrs »

So I get my oil changed last Saturday and the odometer reads 209,9xx. This is my beater DD so she sees a lot of miles in a week. 2 days later, I notice it says 310,0xx! Apparently when it rolled from 209 to 210, it took the first wheel up with it! So I go from 209,000 - to 310,000 in 48 hrs. No wonder I'm tired! The hilarious thing is I only lost $25 in Blue Book value for 100K increase in mileage. 210000 mi is worth $1004 while 310000 mi is worth $979.

Traded my wife's '94 Honda for my bump 8 years ago. :D Had 250,000 on it when I traded it. All in all, I think I got the better end of the deal

Yeah the 90's hondas can ready take a beating. My '98 Accord has 199,229 on the body. Did an engine swap to a Japanese spec engine last year had 55k on the motor and now has about 98k on it now. this car has put up with alot from me pushing it all the time.
