Being Observant Passes With Age

Post by 68 Ford Stepside »

When I was a young buck, i prided myself at catching mistakes or out of place items in movies. Today i'm not so good at it. Back sometime in the nineties, i think, while watching one of the greatest chase movies ever produced i caught a glimpes of something certainly out of place. The movie was called Mr. Majestyk. At approximately one minute & fifteen seconds into the Ford truck chase, i saw the inside of the bed clearly. Someone had removed the behind the seat gas tank & had mounted it in the bed right behind the cab. I had never seen that done before & haven't seen it done since.

I plan on looking at the old Dear Hunter movie with Robert De Niro tonight & as usual i will be looking for out of place items, but probably won't catch any. Have A Great Ford Day! :)

One that stuck out with me was seeing jet trails in the sky in a western. I think it was Little Big Man.

I saw that too while watching that scene on youtube. I figured they moved it for some form of safety while doing the scenes in the desert. That truck gets the crap beat out of it on that drive.
