Gear ratio question

Post by bmerkley58 »

Does anybody know what rear gear ratio was used with the T85N overdrive transmission in a 67 -72 F100 2WD with the 352, 360, or the 390?

You'd have to look at the tag on the diff.

The truck I have did not come with the overdrive transmission from new. I am going to put the overdrive transmission in this truck. Looking at the tag on my rear end won't tell me what rear end ratio these trucks had when you ordered the optional overdrive transmission.

The reason I want to know the ratio is because of torque.
