Hey, I can't remember the last time I logged onto FORDification. Sorry I haven't been around. I Still have the F750. I may replace the battery, start it up, and drive it a little on the farm. I won't be putting her on the road any time soon.
It's possible I will still make her into a customized monster sized F100 pick-up truck.
My baby is 15 1/2 months old now. We moved into our new house last August. I feel a little like I am losing myself. Things will be better next year I suppose.
Anyhoo, my 1967 Ranger is still in the shop! The transmission blew up a long time ago. I told them not to replace it and they have been storing it for me. They are so nice. I paid them for the towing and storage which was CHEAP. a few months ago and talked to them about picking it up. I never did pick up the truck. Recently I realized I could afford to have the transmission replaced to I have been calling them. They still have my truck safe and sound and I have faith that in a week or so I will be able to pick it up and drive it home.
I have a pretty good relationship with Temple Hill Automotive here in San Antonio.

Wow, I feel like I could quote your post and just say "Ditto!"
My truck sat for a long time without much action, I bought a house and finished the basement, and I have a daughter that turned 2 back in August....it seems like life just gets busy every now and then!! No regrets, they are only young once and some of the little moments truly are priceless.
I have been getting some stuff done on the truck lately (a few panels even have paint on them
) and I find myself back lurking around the website on a fairly regular basis, I guess that's how I found your post. I'm jealous that you will get to drive yours soon, I still have a while to wait.
In the meantime
back

Dolinick & Dan,
Nice to see you both back. Life does have a way of throwing us curve balls from time to time.
How are those trees? Bet there getting tall a few years later now.

For the most part the trees are doing good. Some are growing a bit. I did lose a few due to the drought but not many. I planted four more this fall.basketcase0302 wrote:Dolinick & Dan,

Yes, the baby is great. She is growing up very fast. We have settled into our new house for the most part. I should be heading back to work soon also. I took off to work on a rental property. Actually renting out our old house. In fact I tore down the old fence last week in the back and set new cedar posts. Monday I will probably get all the cross pieces and pickets installed.
