You do know that "pre73" 4 X 4's never came with a 460 from the factory don't you? You might be looking for the proverbial "needle in a haystack" as most who build that truck will never sell it.

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
Many Ford bumps / one 76' EB / and several dents through the years.
A lot of "oddball" Ford parts collected from working on them for 34 years now!
2008 Ford Escape 4 x 4
I would think that all the salt used on the roads up north would have depleted many of the old trucks you are seeking. My state doesn't have to use much salt, but the majority of the scrap yards here are crushing & shredding old trucks at an alarming rate. Just a few years ago, I could buy an old truck for $100.00. Today the scrap yard is paying $500.00. Last week they gave my brother-in-law $800.00 for a dodge van. I wish you luck in your search. Have A Great Ford Day!
Several available down here in Georgia in the $1500 price range (but not with a 460) but I have no clue what shipping to you would involve.

Look on Craigslist here in the Pacific Northwest, specifically here in Spokane. You should be able to find 390 equipped 4wd's without too much trouble. Bumps and Dents are EVERYWHERE around here, and cheap. There are probably 40 of them in the wrecking yards being stripped at any given time, so supplies will dwindle...
rustygold1....you didn't say where you live in Canada but there have been some very nice trucks in southern Alberta for sale. Some need more work than others but there are still some nice old ford's here. If I didn't have my 67 ford already I would be getting a 67 mercury and I might anyway. The mercury is a little harder to come by but it would stand out just a little bit more.
if you really can't find anything there and don't wanna ship up something from the states i'd check craigslist and kijjijji for trucks in alberta and b.c. -especially coastal b.c.,theres way less snow and salt out here
i'm kinda shocked you can't find anything out there in saskatchewan,my cousins have tons of fairly rust free (but not running) old pelters (no bumps, but a lot of 50's and 60's cars -including my grandfathers first NEW car -a 50 fargo i ton) sitting out in their fields...if i had any room i'd haul some of their "junk" out here and sell em to my street rod buddies...
- still got my first first car 20+yrs later : 69 f100 sorta kinda pretending its a Mercury M100 w/a 70 f350 sport custom cab (factory buckets) 67 grille with 69 ranger cooneyes 68 merc box and hood, some supercool fiberglass fenders i scored way back when, 76 f150 disc brake frontend..currently running a 90 5.0HO 4bbl/c4 auto & 3.50 posi...originally a 360/c6 f100 Ranger with dealer added towpack (incl. kelsey hays trailer brake),boxside toolbox, behind the seat stowage & belly tank...only original parts left on 'er are the frame, rear end, rear springs, and rear bumper...
