re: Damn...what a day!

Post by FORDification »

Mary came home for a few minutes to get cleaned up and to get some diapers and blankets. She says there isn't much of a change right now...Brianna's still having a having a hard time sleeping and keeping her food down. So I guess we're also in a wait-and-see mode. :o

Thanks for the prayers and kind words from everyone. Terry, our well-wishes are going out to you and yours right now too.

Keith and Terry, my thoughts and prayers are headed your way. I know about that pneumonia thing... spent 2 weeks down with it after NewYears.. had to go to the e-room when my fingernails turned blue and I couldn't breathe... it's nothing to mess with!!

Keith and Terry, keep your heads up and be strong. My 7 month old boy has RSV also, the first time we where in the hositpal under a oxgen tent for a about a week, the second time in november for about 4 days, and luckly he is doing real good lately and even tring to crawl today some. One thing with RSV you can not let them get hot, that seems to make it worse. Hope everything turns out good for both of you.

Well, Brianna was supposed to come home today, but she hadn't made enough progress and the doc said another day. I just talked to Mary, who's been at her bedside almost the entire time, and she said that some progress was made today, and so she might get to come home tomorrow. I guess we'll see. She's still having some trouble keeping her dinner down, but she's getting better. :D However, I'm guessing that it probably won't be tomorrow, more like Wednesday.

Keith, Terry, frankc67,

I'm returning the good vibes I've received over the past couple of weeks in hopes they'll help your little ones. Sure have helped me out. Good luck and I'll be thinking about all of you.

John, sure hope you feel better as well. Pneumonia in us old guys isn't fun at all.
