Got off work today Minus 20 degrees this morning anyway I noticed my speedometer in my 01 Grand Caravan not working. The needle was on the wrong side of the pin that stops it. Thought to myself how would it get there jump over the
pin or what. So I started looking the dash over to take it apart to fix this problem. Stoped myself and thought I had better look online first. Boy am I glad I did. First posts were about the fortune it costs to bring it in and have it fixed And
how some people wrecked there clusters trying to fix it. And one guy wrote the fix. Hold in the odometer trip button with ignition off for about ten seconds and sit back and watch the light show. The computer does an autocheck of all the dash lights and componets including the speedometer. After the light show the speedometer went all the way around and know works fine. Easy fix I wonder what the dodge dealership would have charged me.

Re: Speedometer not working
Although I've never owned a Chrsyler product, its nice to know the info you've posted. I may be able to help a friend out some day who has the same problem. Thanks for sharing that info.
