What A Dream

Post by 68 Ford Stepside »

I dream a lot of crazy dreams anymore. I guess it's the chemo drugs causing it, but the dream I had last night seemed completely real & made perfect sense to me. I dreamed I was in a large warehouse studio & there was a huge sign hanging up in the ceiling. It simply said Overhaulin'. I was sitting at a desk across from Chip Foose explaining exactly how I wanted the flareside rebuilt. Sometimes the wife tells me she hears me talking in my sleep. At least this time I can tell her who I was talking to. LOL :)

Glad I'm not the only one with that dream :zz: . Ever since I was told I could have this truck I have had dreams of how I could fix the problems it has..... and most of the time its a great idea.

I have crazy dreams also, it is usually bombs ka-booming, ship fires, or of my late wife. Only seem to remember bits and pieces. Other than that I sleep plenty good.

Mancar: I noticed your roster of ships served on. I only served on one ship. It was DDG-19, the Tattnall. The balance of my time served was on YTL 456 in DaNang. Have A Great Ford Day! :)

I have an odd philosophy that helps me to deal with the stress and frustration of day to day life...

When you dream, it seems very real to you. You hear sounds, smell scents, see places and things, etc. Dreams can even cause physical reactions in a person's body, such as lashing out, screaming, crying, or (ahem) "nocturnal emissions". Sometimes dreams pick up where they left off if you wake up in the middle of it.

So... How do you that when you go to sleep at night, that's not the "real" world and THIS is just a dream? Things that make you go...Hmmmmm :hmm:

Work is a horrible recurring nightmare that happens night after night. It actually only lasts a few minutes, just seems like 10 hours in the dream.
