A true Frankenbump... He has it listed as a 78, but it has a bump cab, a 70 grille, 67 hood badges, dent cowl badges... Who knows what else. But it is definitely cool!

The likely scenario is that the truck was built from a lot of the trucks it towed to the yard. Who would have better access to a bunch of mis-match parts then someone with a tow truck and a salvage yard. However, for the asking price I would hope they could through a carb in for free.

So what year do you guys think it really is?

He is listing it as a 78, so my guess is that the truck was built the way it is on a 78 frame and they registered it with the VIN from the frame.
