What do u think the these are worth?

Post by Craigerf100 »

Im about to buy these wheels and tires from a guy a few towns over.
i brought him down from his orginal price. but im just curious if my price is inline with there value
they are slightly used with 99% tread. he said he bought a truck from a guy who just put these on.
they are 10x15 wheels unilug with 295/50/r15s.
iu do know they dint make this wheel anymore.

i have the same wheels on my truck but different sizes.
but since 2 of me wheels have been gouged. i figured i might as well get bigger wheel all the way around.

what do u guys think?

:2cents: Don't really know a dollar price, but if you(the buyer) and he(the seller) have settled on a price you both are happy with, then nobody elses opinion matters. You want them...he wants to sell them...case closed. Fair price has many angles and varies state to state

:yt: If you just want a figure, I personally wouldn't give over $600. But then, I would probably sell the rims since they're just not my cup of tea. So the rims wouldn't impress my price.

I'd say there's at least $1000 of rims and tires there.

I bought a set of tires & wheels for my Jeep last year similar to those from an individual. He was asking $600.00. I pulled out five one hundred dollar bills & handed them his way saying that was the best I could offer. He took the cash & said I'll help you load them up. :)

The wheels may generally be considered a bit dated, so that is on your side. Tires, I would check the DOT code on the sidewall to see how old they are. If more than about 5 years old they aren't worth a whole lot. If tires aren't too old, I would say $500-600 is what I would do. Good luck, I like some of the older style wheels too, and they are usually cheaper to buy.

I had those same wheels on a truck,m in either 1996 or 1997. If I recall, they were called "Tarantulas."
