Good evening,

On Saturday the 19th (this coming Saturday) at noon, there's supposed to be a peaceful demonstration at every state capital to show opposition to the new gun laws.

As I understand it, the goal's to get media coverage showing the quantity and quality of people that take issue with the new laws. To help with the quality part, it's proposed that folks be on their best behavior and dress to look respectable. Bringing a sign showing your opinion's also a good idea.

I'll be in Sacramento for this, so perhaps I'll see some of you there.

Here are two videos that help to explain this event:

It looks like Bank of Italy (aka Bank of America) have begun to show their true colors. They have been hiding behind ours since 1930. I closed my account with them in 95'. I've had very strange experiences with them in the past. Never again.

I'll probably start off with the pistol rounds .357, .40 & .45. I use to load them on the hot side. I like plenty of horsepower if you know what I mean. I looked on the net last night for ammo & was amazed at how much ammo is out of stock & on backorder.
Yep, you are about two weeks out of luck.

Yep, at my local gun shop they started a waiting list on ammo, and a limit of 2 boxes of each caliber :x I have been saying for years that I want to buy everything and start reloading my own. I guess this is the time to get started. Will be expensive to get started but will pay for itself in no time. Anyone have suggestions on best type of re loaders and accessories?

I've used this style & brand before so I'll probably go with it again.

A nice basic Lee Anniversary kit is a good way to get started. Or, if you have a friend who reloads, buy some dies, and them a case of beer and watch them happily introduce you to the hobby. I have a friend who reloads, and we shoot the same calibers, so when he is reloading, I often bring my components over and make up a few hundred rounds.

Regarding the .41 mag, it is seeing something of a revival, and commercial ammo is a bit easier to come by, I can usually find a box of Hornady self defense loads when I want it, and I like to reload for hunting or range work anyway. You can even buy shorter .41 special brass, and load to lower pressures for carry work, much like the .44 special.

I just hung up the phone wit B of A the lady "Mindy" Said that there was no issue with using my card to purchase any type of weapon that I wanted. She followed with the comment that if I was concerned with any type of issue that she would happily remove the money from my card and deposit it to my bank acct Non-B of A and i could use cash to make the purchase. I am concerned with all govt BS that is occurring but I am concerned too about misinformation.

No misinformation from me. I know first hand they declined my purchase, and I called and they informed me they can decline any purchase they wanted no matter if fund was available. They even told me to read my card agreement and pointed me to the exact line it was written on. I no longer have to worry about them as I canceled my card while on the phone with them!!

Not sure if anyone knows this or not but Levi Strauss & Co is also a big anti gun supporter. I live near the Bass Pro Shops National headquarters in Springfield , Missouri and they no longer sell anything from Levi Strauss because of this.

I used my B of A visa card to buy a Mini 14 and a couple of "high capacity magazines" yesterday no issues at all I think some if the problems are not necessarily related to the card

I just bought two boxes of .38 ammo at my local gun shop (it's hard to find around here... $22.00 a box when I bought) and the shop owner said he had a customer's B of A card deny a sale for ammo. So B of A, or Snopes, or anyone else, can say it's not happening. It is happening.

I agree with an earlier poster: Cancel your B of A card and find a real bank that issues real credit cards. May I suggest one in Texas or Oklahoma... (No, I'm in Colorado) By the way, B of A also owns Merril Lynch and U.S. Trust, if you want to speak with a louder voice and have accounts at either. B of A itself is headquartered in Charlotte, N.C.

no affiliation to B of A i don't really like them much I just know first hand I have had no issues with any gun or ammo purchases. I speculate that there is a lot of here say in the B of A comments I have been able to track several of the comments to groups that do not promote Conservative values some of the groups web site start with Storm & ends with Front had have a tendency to wear robes and march hidden from the normal people
